A small section of the Forest of the Unknown, full of hawthorns, oaks, ashes, and aspens. It is in the northern part of the Forest, the closest wood to Lyreade. Next to it is the Crystal Wood.
Bryn stood next to a huge cedar, waiting for Devin to arrive. Her eyes narrowed as she cast a spell to check the time. It was 9:07. He was seven minutes late.
Bryn swiftly punched him in the face. "What the hell? You scared the crap out of me!" She then kneed him in the stomach and crossed her arms, glaring at him.
Devin reeled back. "S-sorry...f-for...b-being in a tree," he stammered. "But I usually come here to think. And.....draw." He had decided to not hide anything from her.
Bryn snorted and turned away. "What is there to think about? You're not the one in a prophecy that's going to kill you," she muttered mutinously under her breath.
Bryn whipped around and pushed him back. "No. Nothing's wrong. If there was, I wouldn't tell you." She could see the hurt in his eyes but at the moment she didn't care- she knew that something bad was going to happen, and soon.
Devin backed up, speechless. "Uh....." he said, staring at the girl as she hurt herself. He decided to take action. Bryn probably wouldn't forgive him if he didn't. He grabbed her arms and held them behind her back, staring at the back of her head. "Stop it!" he said.
Bryn tensed. "Don't... touch me," she hissed dangerously. "And don't look at me either." I'm a mess, she wanted to add, but didn't because it would sound stupid. When Devin didn't let go she suddenly leaned backwards and elbowed Devin's chest then twisted him off her.
Devin backed up, eyes downcast and dull. "M-maybe we should meet another time," he said quietly. "Y-you're obviously not in the mood to see me...." Devin had to choke out the last bit.
Bryn shook her head furiously. "NO! I mean, just stay there, please," she pleaded quietly, her hands clasped together, her eyes downcast as she tried to hide her tears.
I can't tell him, I can't tell him, were the only thoughts in Bryn's head. She couldn't tell him about the prophecy, and she could only hope that Damien wouldn't either. She quickly wiped her eyes with a sleeve and sighed a little, and gave him a grim smile. "Look at me. Weak. Freakin' crying. I haven't cried since I was 6."
Devin looked away, an emotion in his eyes that he couldn't identify. "I-I don't know how to help you," he said at last. "Y-you've always rejected my help, so...."
Bryn glared at him even more fiercely. "Well, I'm sorry I don't trust people," she snarled sardonically. "Having evil dark wizard parents that abandoned you doesn't help that front much--" she realized that she had said too much and shut up immediately.
Bryn shrugged. "I don't know. I just wanted to spend time with someone." She gave him a shy smile. "I'm sorry. I haven't... you know, done something like this before. Like, be with someone."
Devin grinned. "Me neither," he said. "Let's see how it goes!" he scooped her up, despite her protests, and carried her bride-style to a small stream that ran through the forest. It sparkled in the bright starlight. He set her down on the bank and sat down as well.
Bryn yelped and forced him off her, which made her tumble into the stream. She surfaced a moment later, gasping, climbing onto the bank again and collapsing onto Devin. "Stupid," she muttered as she panted.
Bryn shrugged slightly. "I guess." (FUYUSHI LOL) She turned her head and snuggled into his broad body (?) and wrapped her arm around his stomach and chest. "You're warm," she said, shivering slightly as she was still pretty wet.
Bryn nodded. "Yup," she smiled slightly. She breathed in his smell, and hummed in happiness as she curled up beside him. "I like you... a lot," she admitted softly.
Bryn smiled widely, and suddenly kissed him passionately on the mouth. "I think I love you too," she said, in case she was wrong. But she didn't think she was.
Devin nodded. "Well, let's go then," he said. "If a teacher catches us in the corridor, we'll say that we were comparing notes in the library and didn't watch the time."
Bryn stood next to a huge cedar, waiting for Devin to arrive. Her eyes narrowed as she cast a spell to check the time. It was 9:07. He was seven minutes late.
ReplyDeleteDevin was jolted awake from his position in a tree. He looked down and saw Bryn. The boy jumped down, scratching his neck. (...) "Yo," he said.
ReplyDeleteBryn swiftly punched him in the face. "What the hell? You scared the crap out of me!" She then kneed him in the stomach and crossed her arms, glaring at him.
ReplyDeleteDevin reeled back. "S-sorry...f-for...b-being in a tree," he stammered. "But I usually come here to think. And.....draw." He had decided to not hide anything from her.
ReplyDeleteBryn snorted and turned away. "What is there to think about? You're not the one in a prophecy that's going to kill you," she muttered mutinously under her breath.
ReplyDeleteDevin stared questions at her. "What?" he asked, walking closer. "Is anything wrong?"
ReplyDeleteBryn whipped around and pushed him back. "No. Nothing's wrong. If there was, I wouldn't tell you." She could see the hurt in his eyes but at the moment she didn't care- she knew that something bad was going to happen, and soon.
ReplyDeleteDevin sighed. Whatever, he thought. If she doesn't want to tell me, then I won't force her.... "You look worried," he stated.
ReplyDeleteBryn glared. "No, really?" She snapped sarcastically, then turned and banged her head against the tree with a stifled sob.
ReplyDeleteDevin backed up, speechless. "Uh....." he said, staring at the girl as she hurt herself. He decided to take action. Bryn probably wouldn't forgive him if he didn't. He grabbed her arms and held them behind her back, staring at the back of her head. "Stop it!" he said.

ReplyDeleteDevin's eyes widened, and he stood, backed against a tree, staring at Bryn, no words coming out of his mouth. (.)
ReplyDelete(lol)

Devin stood with his mouth opening and closing. "Uh...."
ReplyDeleteBryn sighed and leaned against the tree. "You're no help at all," she muttered exasperatedly. She growled and set fire to a random tree by accident.

ReplyDeleteDevin backed up, looking at Bryn with edgy eyes. "W-what?" (mbeh.)
ReplyDelete"Nothing," Bryn said, trying to look confident in her answer. "Nothing at all."
ReplyDeleteDevin saw the restlessness in her eyes, but decided not to ask. "So...." he said, looking her straight in the eye. "We came here to....?"
ReplyDeleteBryn shrugged. "I don't know. I just wanted to spend time with someone." She gave him a shy smile. "I'm sorry. I haven't... you know, done something like this before. Like, be with someone."

ReplyDeleteDevin smiled as she dried herself off. "You're fault," he teased, trying to dodge her blows.
ReplyDeleteBryn sighed, and lay on him with her wet head on his chest. She inched up and placed a little kiss on his cheek.
ReplyDeleteDevin wrapped one hand around her waist, pulling her closer. He gazed at the sparkling river. "Amazing, isn't it?" he asked.
ReplyDeleteBryn shrugged slightly. "I guess." (FUYUSHI LOL) She turned her head and snuggled into his broad body (?) and wrapped her arm around his stomach and chest. "You're warm," she said, shivering slightly as she was still pretty wet.
ReplyDelete(:D)
ReplyDeleteDevin held her tighter. "On the other hand, you're cold," he said teasingly, stroking her hair with his other arm.
Bryn nodded. "Yup," she smiled slightly. She breathed in his smell, and hummed in happiness as she curled up beside him. "I like you... a lot," she admitted softly.
ReplyDeleteDevin grinned into her hair. "Of course you do," he said. "I-I love you...." Devin flushed red, his face hot.
ReplyDeleteBryn smiled widely, and suddenly kissed him passionately on the mouth. "I think I love you too," she said, in case she was wrong. But she didn't think she was.
ReplyDeleteDevin nudged her with his chin. "You think? Thanks a lot," he said, grabbing a lock of her hair and kissing it.
ReplyDelete(...)
ReplyDeleteBryn laughed. "Don't eat my hair, idiot," she grinned and turned his head to face hers. "Kiss my mouth instead," she smirked teasingly.
(they do that in anime! and it makes the girl blush!)
ReplyDeleteDevin smiled. "Duh," he said, stretching out his neck to kiss her. "I was gonna do that last."
(ok)
ReplyDeleteBryn smiled. "Good." She leaned forward and their lips finally connected.
(LOL I wuz gonna type Bryn grinned but it sounds really stupid cuz it rhymes XD)
(what.)
ReplyDeleteDevin turned her around so that they were facing each other, rubbing his arms down her back.
(just said bryn grin out loud and you'll know)
ReplyDeleteBryn smiled as she pulled her fingers through his sandy blonde hair as she kissed him.
(oh)
ReplyDeleteDevin didn't know what to do, so he just ran his hands through her smooth hair, feeling its soft silkiness.
Bryn finally pulled away, grinning. "Yeah... I think we shouuld go now. It's way past curfew. People are going to get us caught."
ReplyDeleteDevin nodded. "Well, let's go then," he said. "If a teacher catches us in the corridor, we'll say that we were comparing notes in the library and didn't watch the time."
ReplyDeleteBryn nodded, and pulled him up, kissing him lightly again. "Let's go." She turned and went back the direction they came from.
ReplyDeleteDevin quickly raced after her, loving how her hair was blown backwards by the breeze.
ReplyDelete(WEEEE!!!!!)
ReplyDeleteBryn looked back for a split second and her hair splat in he face. After spitting it out she called to Devin, "Come on! We need to get back."
Devin nodded. "Wait up, though!" he called, running to catch up with her. They arrived at the entrance of the castle, and stepped in.
ReplyDeleteBryn smiled, and grabbed his hand and kissed him for a brief second and let go, going forward.
ReplyDeleteDevin smiled and they left, walking back to their common room.
ReplyDelete(is that it?)
