  1. Bryn was already sitting at a booth in the corner. She saw Shiina walk hesitantly in. "Masumoto!" She called.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Shiina turned to the sound of Bryn's voice. Still bearing a face with narrowed eyes, she sat down across from her. "Are you sure no one will hear us from here?" she asked, staring at Bryn with intense eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Bryn didn't answer, but waited until a cute waitress with her hair in a bun walk to their booth. "Can I get you anything?" She asked in a sickly sweet voice.
"Yes. Two butterbeers and a basket of rolls, please." Bryn nodded at her curtly.
"Right away, ma'am." The waitress whisked off to get her order. Bryn took out her wand and muttered, "Muffliato," then put it back into her pocket. "Now they can't," she told Shiina, flashing a small grin at the other girl.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Shiina closed her eyes for a second, looking like an old man in deep thought. Abruptly, she opened them. "So? Why did you want to come here?"

    ReplyDelete
  5. "I already told you. I want you to tell me what you meant the other day." Bryn looked straight into Shiina's eyes, amber locking with black. Her face was calm, betraying no emotion.

    ReplyDelete
  6. "What? I merely saw through your fate. That is all," Shiina replied, staring at Bryn with the same gaze.

    ReplyDelete
  7. "And what is that fate?" Bryn's dark hair slightly shaded her eyes, and she brushed the stray strands away so she could look upon Shiina's face more clearly.

    ReplyDelete
  8. "That is classified. It's a rule. Even if I see your whole future, which I did, I cannot tell you what it is." Shiina turned away, slightly uncomfortable with Bryn's gaze.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Bryn did not move. "You have the Inner Eye."

    ReplyDelete
  10. Shiina's eyes were so narrowed that they looked almost closed. "Therefore...?"

    ReplyDelete
  11. "You can see into the future more than anyone else. In other words, you are a seer." Bryn said this calmly, as if it had no effect on her at all.

    ReplyDelete
  12. "Seeing into the future has a price," Shiina stated, avoiding answering Bryn.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Just then, the waitress came back with two large mugs of butterbeer and a large basket of rolls. "Here you go!" She said brightly. Bryn didn't say anything and ignored her. The waitress, slightly disturbed by the two girls' intense stares, backed off and rushed back into the kitchens. "Butterbeer?" Bryn offered, her voice not changing, her stare still on Shiina. She moved one mug towards her.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Shiina ignored the mug. "It depends," she started. "Different people have different prices."

  16. Bryn kept staring. "I see." There was an uncomfortable silence, then she spoke again. "I can tell you have more to say."

    ReplyDelete
  17. Shiina looked out the window. "I will say no more. Ask, and I will answer, but I will not say."

    ReplyDelete
  18. Bryn tensed, and her eyes narrowed, but she changed the subject. "Very well. Do as you wish, but I will still discover the truth."
    Another silence. Then:
"You cannot see into your own future."

    ReplyDelete
  19. "Do I need to?" Shiina countered, staring at Bryn once again.

    ReplyDelete
  20. "At many times, yes, you do." For some reason, with that much staring without blinking, Bryn's eyes did not water or get sore.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Shiina narrowed her eyes and looked downwards. "Seeing into one's future is never good." The air around her seemed to get colder. "Especially if you look into mine."

    ReplyDelete
  22. Bryn's posture did not waver, and her eyes or face betrayed not emotion. "You have not answered me."

    ReplyDelete
  23. "Do you see into your own future or not?" Bryn's voice became more demanding.

    ReplyDelete
  24. "Upon seeing one's future, they most often see their own death. It makes them mad with cowardice. Though I would not become like that, seeing your own future is still not worth it. For seeing your own future inflicts even more damage onto the user. Say the price of seeing into the future was being cut every time you did. Then seeing your own future would inflict large wounds on you. The price of seeing one's future is ten times the price of seeing other people's futures."

    ReplyDelete
  25. Seeing that Bryn was about to ask another question, Shiina stood up and said, "I can see that you want to know more. But not now. After all, we have homework to do." She thought for a moment. "Come back here tomorrow at the same time, if you wish. If I do not see you when I arrive, I will leave immediately." And with that, she waved her wand, lifting the charm, and left.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Bryn did not move from her original position. Instead, she became even more still, if that was even possible. Part of her wanted to kill Masumoto for literally ordering her around and threatening her, but another part of her knew that she would have to suffer if she wanted answers. She remained there for another five minutes, deep in thought, then she transformed the mug into a to-go plastic cup, transformed the basket into a carton, put 10 galleons onto the table, and left.

    ReplyDelete
  27. She came at 1pm, for lunch. After ordering a beef casserole and a glass of elderflower wine, Bryn decided that she might as well wait for Shiina to come. She took out a book, titled: "Encounters With Death", and settled down to read and eat.
    ---------
One and a half hours passed. Bryn had finished her meal exactly forty-five minutes ago, and she had finished about three-quarters of her book. Looking up, she saw Shiina walk through the door. Without bothering to acknowledge her, she waved her wand, saying "Muffliato" again, as Shiina found her and sat down at the booth. Incidentally, the same one as yesterday.

    ReplyDelete
  28. So was Bryn."............"
Then: "So? Why did you want to come here?" Bryn, shooting Shiina's words yesterday back at her.

    ReplyDelete
  29. "....You seemed like you had more to ask," Shiina replied placidly.

    ReplyDelete
  30. "And you told me you had nothing to answer." Bryn returned, calmly.

    ReplyDelete
  31. "...." Shiina stared out the window, narrowing her eyes. "I said that I would not speak unless you asked a question. It did not occur to me that there was an unanswered question."

    ReplyDelete
  32. "But apparently you did, for you thought I had more to ask, therefore you sensed an unanswered question." Bryn countered.

    ReplyDelete
  33. "If you did sense a question, I myself did not sense it."

    ReplyDelete
  34. "Well, what did you want then?" Bryn snapped, annoyed.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Shiina turned her eyes to Bryn. "Someones coming. Let's get out of here."

    ReplyDelete
  36. Bryn stood up. "Follow me. I know a place." She led Shiina to Valgurie Lane.
    (comment there next.)

  37. Damien stepped inside the Newt Café, taking off his jacket. He smiled at the hostess who lead him to a table, and put his black leather jacket beside him, showing his fitting white shirt. Damien reached into the back pocket of his faded skinny jeans and pulled out his wand then a cloth, polishing it.

    ReplyDelete
  38. (Ahhhh)

Shiina walked into the cafe and looked around. She hadn't been sure of what to wear, so she just wore a white dress shirt and black pants, typical summer boy uniform in Japan. She saw Damien and walked over to his table.

    ReplyDelete
  39. He looked up and grinned at her as she sat down at his booth. "Hey." He greeted her, a little shy. "You look good." Damien told her, a slight blush on his cheeks.

    ReplyDelete
  40. "Shut up," Shiina said, looking away. "So?" she said. "What now?"

(XD I TYPED SHEENA JSUT NOW)

    (but its a real word/name....)

    ReplyDelete
  41. (loooooooool)

Damien grinned again at her shutting him up. "We order food," he told her, his hand shooting up and waving until a waitress came over. He smiled charmingly at the waitress. "Ready to order?" She asked him, smiling as well.
    "Yes, please," Damien nodded.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Shiina looked up. "Hazelnut coffee, please," she said, narrowing her eyes. She looked at Damien expectantly.

    ReplyDelete
  43. "I'll have some butterbeer and a shepherd's pie," Damien told the waitress, smiling, then looked at Shiina. "Do you want anything other than coffee? Or do you want to share mine?"

    ReplyDelete
  44. Shiina rested her arm on the table. "Don't care," she said, looking out the window.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Damien shrugged and told the waitress, "She'll have the same as me then." The lady nodded and wrote it down, then laughed, staring at Shiina. "Your girlfriend may be pretty but she's not very sociable, is she?"
Damien's face flushed and he gritted his teeth. "Don't talk about her. And she's not my girlfriend."

    ReplyDelete
  46. Shiina glared at the waitress with her best Dracoslyther glare. She slowly backed off and disappeared.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Damien sighed and glanced at Shiina. "Sorry about that. Marian's a little... you know." He knew the lady from a little while back, since his third year.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Shiina closed her eyes. "Doesn't matter," she said.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Damien watched her, momentarily drawn in by her pale, even face and straight black hair.

    ReplyDelete
  50. (HER HAIRS BLUE :D)

    Shiina looked at him. "What?"

    ReplyDelete
  51. (whatever. XD)

Damien looked away, the spell broken, his face now scarlet. His dark blue eyes were embarrassed. "Sorry. It was nothing."

    ReplyDelete
  52. Shiina gave him a look then put her chin down on the table, staring up into his eyes. "......"

    ReplyDelete
  53. Damien gazed right back, his eyes wide, until the waitress came along with their food. "A butterbeer, a hazelnut coffee, and two shepherd's pies for you two!" Marian called, placing the stuff on the table. "Enjoy!" She winked at Damien.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Shiina closed her eyes again and raised her head to pick up the mug of coffee. She stared into its steaming contents.

    ReplyDelete
  55. (Need some action)

Shiina narrowed her eyes and looked up at Damien. "Actually," she said in a serious voice, "There's something I need to ask you." She slowly slid the parchment from her parents over to the gray eyed boy.

(I CHANGED HER NAME TO SHIINA HITSUGAYA NATSUMOTO :))

    ReplyDelete
  56. (:P HAAA)

Damien's face changed with hers, becoming serious also. "What is it? ASk me anything." He leaned forward, his chin resting in his palm.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Shiina held up the parchment in front of his face. "Read this," she said.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Damien narrowed his eyes as he read it. He growled, and his eyes flared blue fire. "This is Kasumi, right?"

    ReplyDelete
  59. Shiina closed her eyes and nodded. "But I'm wondering if I should go or not," she said. "Don't take me wrong though, I want to save him. Not.... obey my parents."

    ReplyDelete
  60. Damien growled. "You're not going. I'm not letting you. Don't give me that look, I know Bryn wouldn't let you go either. I'll go, though. I'll take Devin with me. He might be slightly annoying and too hyper, but he's smart."

    ReplyDelete
  61. Shiina glared at the other boy. "It's my brother," she protested. "I'm not even sure if he trusts me anymore, but he'll trust me even less if he thinks I sent other people to go save him!"

    ReplyDelete
  62. "He won't think that if I tell him I forced you not to go," Damien retorted. "Besides, I don't think Taki wants his sister to get hurt."

    ReplyDelete
  63. Shiina continued to glare. "He probably doesn't care anymore," she said back. "If I go it'll be easier to gain his trust again."

    ReplyDelete
  64. "No," Damien said firmly. "Either I go, or nobody goes."

    ReplyDelete
  65. Shiina softened her gaze and looked at him. "T-then go with m-me!" she stuttered.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Damien rolled his eyes but his heart melted. "Shiina, I just told you that you weren't going."

    ReplyDelete
  67. Shiina glared once more. "I don't care," she said. "I'm going, and you can't make me stay here, even if Dumbledore springs back to life and tells me to himself!"

    ReplyDelete
  68. Damien stared back at her. "You're not going, Shiina. Bryn needs you here, to figure out the prophecy. Devin and I will go, and I think eventually the prophecy will lead us back." His voice wasn't commanding anymore, it was soft, begging for Shiina to understand.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Shiina continued to glare but didn't say anything. "AEHFONKL:SHLFHFSF: HSRUF:" went the sound of her thoughts.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Damien took a gulp of his butterbeer and sat back. "It's decided. Devin and I will set out next week. I'm sure I could get Farwill to convince Knapp. At least, I'm sure either Devin or Bryn can. You and Bryn will continue to work on the prophecy."

    ReplyDelete
  71. Shiina looked down. "B-be careful," she warned. "My parents are powerful, and you will need to be very prepared." She piled some weapons on the table. "You'll need more than this, though."

    ReplyDelete
  72. Damien nodded. "I'm good at Transfiguration and Charms, so I'll manage on the weaponry part. Devin's good at D.A.D.A, so I think it'll balance out." He nevertheless took the weapons and smiled at Shiina shyly. "Soo... about that kiss... can you honestly tell me how you felt?"

    ReplyDelete
  73. Shiina looked away. "I-I..." she found herself speechless. Shiina lowered her head as she thought of what to say.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Damien stared at her, waiting patiently.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Shiina was turning red by the second. "I...I..........I......" she honestly didn't know what to say, and she remained speechless, stuttering 'I' over and over again.

    (Gosh that must sound retarded)

    ReplyDelete
  76. (lol is she going to say anything else?)

    Damien still watched her intently.

    (...)

    ReplyDelete
  77. "...don't know," Shiina finally said, setting her chin on the table once more. "I-I'm not good with feelings, especially when it comes to expressing them...."

    ReplyDelete
  78. Damien smiled softly. "Then you can just show me how you feel. Slap me or something, or pat me on the back. I... I liked it, actually," he flushed red, but didn't look away from her red eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Shiina looked away for a second, then slid out of her booth and into his, leaning her head on his shoulder. "Is that ok?"

    ReplyDelete
  80. Damien grinned. "Yeah..." he turned and softly kissed Shiina on the mouth.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Shiina returned the kiss and wrapped her arms around his body. "Damien..." she said through his mouth.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Damien smiled again through the kiss and held her to him, his lips moving against hers.

(lol ima make marian come along XD)

    ReplyDelete
  83. (:O)

Shiina closed her eyes, colors flashing through her mind as they sat in the booth, erm, doing what they were doing.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Damien's kiss began to be more urgent as he ran his fingers through Shiina's blue hair. Suddenly, there was a titter of feminine laughter. "I thought you two weren't dating!"

    ReplyDelete
  85. Shiina's eyes narrowed and she turned around for a moment and held up a small throwing needle to the woman's throat. "STFU," she said. (XD)

    ReplyDelete
  86. Marian's eyes widened. "Okay, okay, I'll go away. I was just kidding." She backed off and ran towards the kitchen. Damien snorted with laughter, his arms still around Shiina's.

    (LOL)

    ReplyDelete
  87. Shiina had a small smile on her face. When she realized what she was doing, she held up a hand to her mouth. "I-I'm smiling!" she said out loud. (No duh.)

    ReplyDelete
  88. (LOL obvious Shiina)

Damien grinned at Shiina. "Yeah?" He gave her another small peck on the lips. "You should do it more often. You look cute."

    (LIKE KAO!!!!!!!!! xD)

    ReplyDelete
  89. Shiina blushed and looked away. "Sh-shut up," she said again. Cute? Me? He must be retarded, she thought silently.

    ReplyDelete
  90. (he is. XD)

"I'm serious," Damien told her, still grinning. "You look more beautiful than you already are."

    ReplyDelete
  91. (:D)

Shiina looked away and narrowed her eyes. "No one has called me that before," she said slowly. "I've been called many things. Seer, stupid girl, retarded daughter, but never, ever beautiful. Or cute."

    ReplyDelete
  92. "Well, you are. More than any other person in the planet." He smiled at her gently. "You have to accept that."

    ReplyDelete
  93. Shiina leaned onto him once again. "If you say so," she said softly.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Damien smiled even wider and pulled her in for another kiss, his arms around her waist.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Shiina closed her eyes again and wrapped her arms around him, never wanting the moment to end.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Damien finally ran his fingers through her hair, sighing into the kiss as he smiled slightly.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Shiina smiled inwardly, but couldn't smile on the outside all of a sudden. She relaxed and opened her eyes a crack to peek at Damien.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Damien's eyes were slightly closed but they were still open so that he could still tell what was going on. His eyes captured Shiina's movement and he pulled away slowly. "What?" He asked her smiling softly, lifting her onto his lap.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Shiina turned scarlet. "N-nothing," she said, looking away. "It's just that you looked so-so...so...handsome...." her voice slowly wavered away, like foam on the ocean.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Damien stared for a second, wondering if he had heard right. Did Shiina Hitsugaya Natsumoto... just compliment someone? Namely him ? Then, he grinned so widely he wasn't sure whether his mouth was still there anymore or not. "Really?" He was suddenly so overcome with feeling for Shiina that he couldn't keep the silly grin off his face, his dark blue eyes shining.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Shiina closed her eyes and turned redder, not bothering to answer him, too overcome with embarrassment to care about anything.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Damien practically smashed his mouth on hers as he leaned forward and grasped her face (...) softly, his eyes closed fully now.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Shiina submitted herself to him and closed her eyes as well as the two were swept into a world of love. (.)

    ReplyDelete
  104. (LOL)

Damien's face was heated and his mouth was red when they finally pulled away, breathing hard from lack of oxygen.

(And then they both died of suffocation. jkjk)

    ReplyDelete
  105. Shiina sighed happily, not out of breath, since she had breathed through her nose.

    (:D)

    ReplyDelete
  106. (LOL she was breathing Damien's nose.)

Damien grinned a little at Shiina. He gave her a ragged, shy smile that was crooked yet adorable. At least, that's what Bryn told him in the first year. He'd blushed and Bryn had gotten mad at him for it. Weird girl.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Shiina leaned herself onto Damien's broad chest and closed her eyes, suddenly tired.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Damien glanced at the half eaten food and sighed, knowing they wouldn't be eating again. He took out five galleons and placed them on the table. "Let's go now, shall we?" He asked Shiina gently, stroking her hair.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Shiina opened her eyes to slits and stood up. "Where to?" she asked.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Damien shrugged, standing up too. "Out of here. Somewhere more comfortable." He paused, then smiled, remembering their first one-on-one encounter. "The Death Lake?"

    ReplyDelete
  111. Shiina shivered as she remembered her previous encounter at the lake. But it would be all right with Damien, right? She nodded. "Let's go!" she called, racing off ahead of him.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Damien grinned as he sprinted after her, laughing, dark blue hair flying in the wind.

    (comment next at d.lake?)
