Death Lake

This is a freezing cold lake, with a dark magic in it that if you are in it for too long, your muscles and organs freeze, drowning and killing you. Inside are thousands of dark creatures, evils of all sorts.

  1. Shiina stood at the edge of the lake, looking out over it. The wind whipped her hear, and she began to whip it back and forth. (no jk that sentence)

    (ROFL)

Damien walked silently up behind her, and he spoke, startling her. "Is this is your special place too?" He smiled softly.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Shiina turned around, a slightly irritated look on her face. "....."

    ReplyDelete
  4. Damien smiled down at her, his blue-gray eyes staring into her red ones.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Shiina turned back around and narrowed her eyes at the lake.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Damien stood next to her, watching the black water ripple lightly against the shore. "It's quite beautiful, isn't it?" He commented, hypnotized by the lake.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Shiina stared at the lake, memories flashing through her eyes. She sat down in a seiza position, watching the wind blow.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Damien looked down and knelt beside her, wondering how his Japanese father and British mother were doing at home. He sighed, thinking about his dead sister, killed by the hands of a group of dark wizards.

    (OMG THE PROPHECY lol XD)

    ReplyDelete
  9. Shiina narrowed her eyes, thinking about her parents. She thought about Taki, and about her other younger sister, who had died under her parents orders. She had been killed. Shiina shivered slightly as she remembered the vivid image of her sister sprawled on the floor, covered in blood. She still remembered what she had thought, staring down at the scene. "I killed my own sister." A single tear rolled down her cheek as she thought about the young girl.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Damien suddenly looked over at her, and saw the tear. "Shiina! Are... are you okay?" He was, all of a sudden, worried, and he didn't know why.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Shiina looked down, slightly embarrassed, but mostly ashamed of showing her emotions in front of someone else. (......)

    ReplyDelete
  12. Damien smiled softly, sympathetically at her. "It's okay, I'm not... going to tell anyone or anything if you don't want me to. Do you need a tissue or something?" He asked, fumbling in his shirt pocket for one.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Shiina shook her head and looked away, wondering why she was still there.

    ReplyDelete
  14. "Shiina, seriously. Talk to me, because you might not believe it, but I actually care." Damien quickly stopped his flow of words before they could do anything else.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Shiina looked down at him from where she was sitting. "Why?" she said suddenly in Japanese, her voice becoming somewhat deeper. "Nande?"

    (uhhhhhhhh)

    ReplyDelete
  16. Damien paused. "I... I don't know, Shiina. I just do." It was the truth; his feeling for her were hard to interpret. The only thing he knew was that he would never let anything hurt her.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Shiina narrowed her eyes and continued to sit, not sure of herself anymore. She looked across the barren lake, wishing she could jump in it and be enveloped in its depths. But she couldn't. She looked at Damien again.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Damien was staring at her with his blue eyes, looking solemn. "Are you sure you're okay?"

    ReplyDelete
  19. Shiina looked at him, almost reading his thoughts. "You have a little sister?"

    (PHYSIC)

    ReplyDelete
  20. Shiina stared at him longer, piercing her mind through his future. She narrowed her eyes and looked away, slightly shocked. Shiina felt blood rising in her throat and spat into the lake.

    (O.O)

    ReplyDelete
  21. Damien tensed, then watched as the blood sank slowly into the lake, then there was a sudden thrash underwater, and a black, scaled tail flashed out of the water for a split second before sinking back in innocently. He gave her a sideways glance. "Seer?" He had sneaked into the Restricted Section in the library to read about them, a subject which he was very interested in.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Shiina nodded quietly, not sure if she should say anything else.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Damien sat back. "Do you take something for it?"

    ReplyDelete
  24. Shiina looked away bitterly. "Doesn't work," she spat.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Damien nodded. "Happens." He thought for a while. "I could help," he offered. "I've done a lot of research for cures."

    ReplyDelete
  26. "Tch," Shiina muttered. She stood up and started to leave.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Damien stood up and put his hand on her shoulder. "Shiina, wait."

    ReplyDelete
  28. Shiina looked down and narrowed her eyes. "Hanase," she said quietly. "Let me go."

    ReplyDelete
  29. "I want to help," he replied, just as quietly. "Give me a chance." He suddenly felt like some anime dude trying to get a girl to be his girlfriend.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Shiina glared and slapped his hand away. The wind blew.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Damien sighed. "Shiina..." he didn't want to force her, but he felt he needed to help.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Shiina narrowed her eyes. "Do you want to die?"

    ReplyDelete
  33. Damien paused for a second, pondering the thought. "Well, let's see. Everyone has to die in the end, even if they have the Philosopher's Stone. The only difference it would make if I died sooner than usual is that I wouldn't have as much of a chance to do the things I always wanted to do. But if it was my fate to die then, I would not object to it. I mean, if my fate was to be killed by you, sure, go ahead." His eyes were narrowed, deep in thought.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Shiina rolled her eyes and looked away. "Then die," she muttered, throwing small shurikens that landed a millimeter from his feet. Then she stalked off.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Damien stared after her, thinking. Either way, he would find the correct mixture of herbs and magic to cure her of the "payback". Perhaps he should ask Professor Krumiage...

    (:O)

    ReplyDelete
  36. Shiina stormed over to the lake side and crouched down by it, staring deep into the water. "I don't get feelings," she thought. "They're too complicated. Why? Why...." Her hand slowly approached the dark surface of the water.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Suddenly there was a huge splash and vicious, gaping jaws filled with sharp teeth erupted out of the water and clamped down on Shiina's hand. From behind her there was a gasp then a flash of blinding white, and the jaws disappeared back into the water once more, leaving Shiina's hand bleeding and torn. A dark shape emerged from the forest and dashed to the house head's side. Gwen inspected it with concern, and then muttered, "Scourgify," cleaning the wound. "Tergeo," she then muttered and the blood was siphoned off the surface. "Vulnera Sanentur," she whispered, and the wound closed up. "Protego Horribilis, Salvio Hexia," she murmured, and the hand glowed a pale silver. Gwen looked up at Shiina. "I've healed it for now, but it'll open up again later, so go to the infirmary to get some poultice. I've also put a dark magic and hex protection charm on it, because it can't get harmed anymore in its state. It'll wear off, so reapply it later." Gwen stood up, walking to the shore and pointing her wand at the surface. "Cave Inimicum," she told it, and the sat back, putting her wand back into her robes.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Shiina turned to look at the other girl. "I don't need your help," she said coldly. "In fact, if you hadn't come I wouldn't have minded anyways." Her red eyes glared at the other girl in front of her, and she started to walk away.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Gwen ignored Shiina completely, thinking that it wasn't whether she thought whether she needed help, that it was the fact that Gwen knew what was going to happen to her and that she might as well make sure she wasn't hurt until then. She inspected her nails, then waved her wand at the lake surface, saying "Specialis Revelio" under her breath.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Shiina kept on walking, then heading back into the building/castle/whatever Lyreade is.

    ReplyDelete
  41. (It's a castle.)

Gwen saw through the black waters, seeing the strange sea creatures that had bothered to reveal themselves. She inspected them for a second, then whipped out a notepad and quill. Sticking to her "true Eagletalon side", she began taking notes on them, making a mental memo to visit the Library soon.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Shiina ran. She looked behind her and saw Damien, abruptly stopping. "We're here!" she announced.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Damien nearly slammed into Shiina as she stopped. He swerved around at the last minute and tripped over his feet, crashing to the soft ground. "Ow..." he muttered as he scrambled back up again.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Shiina smiled down at him. "Clumsy," she said. She looked across the vast lake and sighed. "..."

    ReplyDelete
  45. Damien sat down on the bank. "What're you thinking about?" He asked after a few minutes of calm silence.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Shiina turned around to look at him her robes billowing behind her in the wind. "Nothing really," she said.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Damien sighed and pulled her to him, arm wrapped around her waist.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Shiina leaned onto him and stared into the lake, then at her hand, wondering what would have happened if Gwen had not saved her that day.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Damien stared into the Lake, feeling a bit remorseful. He was thankful for Gwen, for saving Shiina, but he didn't want her to die. He hadn't wanted the Dracoslyther girl that he had always secretly admired and defended to perish like that.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Shiina moved her face in front of his. "What?"

    (XD BRYNNNN)

    ReplyDelete
  51. (LOLOLOLOLOL)

"Just thinking... about Gwen," Damien said quietly, holding her closer to him.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Shiina lowered her gaze. She had kept her feelings for the young girl bottled up inside her. Suddenly, the young seer couldn't take it anymore, and she started to cry, tears silently fighting out of her eyes and running down her face.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Damien looked at Shiina, surprised. Shiina... crying? Was that even possible? He quickly turned her around, wiping her tears with his shirt. "Are you okay? Did I do something?" He asked her, anxious.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Shiina leaned into him, breathing in his smell. "I...I always keep my emotions locked away, like in a secret chamber i-in my heart. A-and sometimes the chamber gets opened.." Her voice trailed off as more 'rain' fell.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Damien nearly cried, but he stared into her eyes. "You don't have to do that with me, Shiina," he whispered to her. "You can show me whatever you want." He hugged her tightly.

    ReplyDelete
  56. "Gwen....didn't deserve to die..." Shiina went on. “Too young, too inexperienced, too pure. She didn't get to see enough of the world..."

    ReplyDelete
  57. Damien sighed. "It was her fate. It was her destiny to be sacrificed." He paused for a moment, then frowned. "Destiny sucks."

    ReplyDelete
  58. Shiina looked down. "Destiny...." she muttered. There was something about that word that sounded mysterious, like it was inviting people to check it out, but it could also destroy people. (uh)

    ReplyDelete
  59. (haha)

Damien looked at the dark, billowing waters of the Lake and suddenly died.

(jk about the last part XD)

    ReplyDelete
  60. (O.O)

Shiina started to walk away. "Well, I need to finish up my study notes," she said. "See you." She stuck out an arm in farewell and left.

(...NOW WE CAN WORK ON MORE BLOGS~!)

    ReplyDelete
  61. (yay! lol)

"See you!" He called after her, and continued sitting there, watching the lake.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Damien got to the lake first, waiting for Shiina, leaning again a huge oak by the dangerous waters.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Shiina appeared not that later, walking close to the shoreline of the lake, staring into its waters.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Damien looked up and pulled her down to him. "Hi," he said simply.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Shiina nodded. "Hi," she greeted, kneeling down next to him.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Damien sighed, staring at the lake. A little creature flipped into the air from it and landed again within its black depths.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Shiina shuddered slightly. "Who knows what else is in this lake...." she muttered, slowly peeking into the lake.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Damien nodded. "Yeah. I guess that's why we're not actually allowed here." He smiled slightly at Shiina and nudged her gently.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Shiina shrugged. "It's not that bad," she said. "At least there's no, like, dragons or anything..."

    ReplyDelete
  70. Damien laughed. "Yeah. Those are in the Forest," he grinned. "Besides, we already know how to defeat one."

    ReplyDelete
  71. Shiina patted him slightly. "Aren't you the confident one?" she teased.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Damien pretended to look affronted. "Well, I have!" He protested. "Remember last year?"

    ReplyDelete
  73. Shiina shrugged. "Whatever," she said. "But that was only once, and you got some bad burns that time..."

    ReplyDelete
  74. "Still, I did it," he said, smiling. He leaned forward and pressed his mouth to hers gently.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Shiina wrapped her arms around him. "You did, didn't you?" she whispered softly.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Damien smiled. "Yeah," he said just as softly, moving her on top of him and holding her to his body.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Shiina smiled as they met for what seemed the hundredth time, but she wasn't tired of it. "I love you," she said. SHIINA---------->

    ReplyDelete
  78. (LOLOLOL)

"As I always will," Damien answered, kissing her again, smiling. "Forever, even after I die." If that's possible, he added in his head.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Shiina looked at him. "Idiot," she said, leaning into him more. "Forever is forever. Even death can't break us apart."

    (this is turning romliet-ish...)

    ReplyDelete
  80. (lol yea)

"Nope," Damien grinned at her playfully, rolling her over. He held her down by her shoulder with his strong arms, leaning over her with a lively smile.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Shiina looked up at him. "What are you-?" she asked as her words were broken off. She hadn't seen him from this angle yet, and she was intrigued.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Damien was nose to nose with her, literally, and his blue eyes stared into her red. "I don't know. I just want to see you laugh."

    ReplyDelete
  83. Shiina was still staring questions at him, but ignored them. "B-but," she stammered. "I don't think I can........"

    ReplyDelete
  84. Damien grinned. "Impossible. Everybody can laugh. It's just a matter of habit." He gave her a peck on the lips. "You're gonna have to after a while."

    ReplyDelete
  85. Shiina shrugged. "Maybe," she said, looking at him.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Damien laughed and picked her up, slinging her over his shoulder and making a mad dash for the lake.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Shiina yelped slightly. "Put me down!" she said to him, whacking his back with her fists.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Damien quite literally threw her in the lake, but before she could touch the water he whipped out his wand and shot a spell at her. Shiina now hovered over the lake with her horrified expression and Damien was laughing his head off while still trying to concentrate on the spell.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Shiina glared. "What are you doing? If a monster or something jumps out of the water and gets me, Bryn'll kill you! Stop it!"

    ReplyDelete
  90. Damien looked at her, pretending to look hurt. "You really think I'll let that happen? I love you too much." Still, he made her fly into the air and plunge back down.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Shiina screamed slightly, still more mad than exhilarated. "Stop it already!" she yelped.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Damien finally made her fly nearly into the tree before he let go and she fell to the ground with an "oomph". "I've never heard you scream before," he said thoughtfully. "Something new today. That's good."

    ReplyDelete
  93. Shiina was still glaring. "I'm not here for you to view," she said, pummeling him with her limbs. (.)

    ReplyDelete
  94. Damien laughed as he blocked her punches and pulled her to him so she couldn't reach out enough to hurt him.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Shiina rolled her eyes. "Jeez," she said, stepping forward and kissing him full on the lips.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Damien smiled and kissed her back passionately, moving to a more comfortable position.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Shiina closed her eyes and smiled slightly through the kiss. "Damien..." she said softly, wrapping her arms around him.

    ReplyDelete
  98. "I love you," Damien whispered into her ear, pulling her on top of him, his lips still attached to hers.

    ReplyDelete
  99. (101 COMMENTS!!!!!)

Shiina wanted him more. She stuck out her tongue, begging for entrance. "...please?"

    ReplyDelete
  100. (lol)

Damien smiled and allowed her, his eyes closing as he kissed her. There were suddenly the sound of footsteps near them. "Kumataka, Natsumoto, you are not allowed here," said a deep, masculine voice. Damien recognized it immediately. Krumiage.

    (he doesn't know he's evil)

    ReplyDelete
  101. Shiina quickly broke apart from Damien and jumped away with him, grabbing his arm. "Go away!" she said, eyebrows turning down. She slid out a knife from the sleeve of her robe.

(wow...that was a sudden change of events..)

    ReplyDelete
  102. (i know... i just wanted something to happen...)

Damien's brow furrowed. "Shiina, what are you doing? He's a professor, don't threaten him!" He pulled her away. "Sorry, professor, she's a bit mistaken."
"It's quite alright, Kumataka. But please remember that this is off-grounds, and students are not allowed here." The deputy headmaster smiled benignly at Damien.

    ReplyDelete
  103. (actually me too :D)

Shiina's eyebrows dipped downwards even deeper. "Ggh...." she said quietly as she broke away from Damien, racing towards the professor. "You're not getting away with this!" she said loudly, aiming a kick at his head.

    (DAMIEN----------->)

    ReplyDelete
  104. Krumiage's wand shot out and Shiina was propelled three meters away. "Miss Natsumoto, I will see you in my office for a week of detention. Fifty points off Dracoslyther." He turned and walked away, then disappeared. Damien turned and raced to Shiina's side. "Shiina, are you okay? What were you thinking?"

    ReplyDelete
  105. Shiina sat up, coughing. She looked at Damien, deciding to hell him about Krumiage. "Damien...." she started. "There's a prophecy. There are five who want to take revenge on the school. Four of them, are my parent's and Bryn's parents. The fifth one is....Krumiage. We don't know what they're going to do yet, but we do know that they have to be killed, and that if they are not, they will destroy this school."

    ReplyDelete
  106. (hell him lol)

Damien's eyes widened. "I... I didn't know. I'm sorry, I should have let you..." he looked down and sighed. "Did he kill Gwen?" He asked in a whisper.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Shiina looked sideways at the boy, a drop of blood running down one corner of her mouth. "Yeah," she said, keeping her voice quiet. "Gwen was with them too. But then she saw the light, a little too late, though." She stood up. "We should go now, in case he comes back."

    ReplyDelete
  108. Damien ripped off a sleeve of his shirt and cleaned off her face and wounds, then healed them with "episkey". "Come on, let's go." Instead of letting her walk he lifted her up and carried her into the Lyreade grounds.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Shiina sighed as they left. She was constantly being carried these days...
