This class is the everyday classroom, with 4 by 5 desks, two blackboards, a teacher's desk, and a closet for materials. There is also a projection screen, which can be snapped up and down. This class is taught by Professor Akai.
Leon wondered why Pollux didn't have a butterbeer. Professor Akai looked up. "Akinara will not be with us today," he said. "Everybody please get out your textbooks and flip to to the page named: Muggle Stationary. When you are done reading it, come up to the board and write something interesting about it."
Leon got our his book and began to read. Haruyuki did the same.
Pollux flipped open his textbook and read. When he was done reading, he quickly quaffed some butterbeer from his bottle then slipped it back in his pocket. Then he look at Leon and winked.
Leon smiled and continued to stare at the page. After a while, Haruyuki went up to the board and wrote, "Muggles do not need quills to write. They use things called pencils, which is graphite encased in wood. They are able to erase it without casting spells. (Obviously)." Leon was still reading.
Pollux read the last few words on the page. Then he walked up to the board and wrote: "Humans also use something called a pen, which is a tube of ink encased in plastic (usually)."
Leon finished the chapter and walked up to the board. "Since Muggles have no magical powers, they are unable to erase ink, but they are able to cover it with a substance called white-out." Akai looked up. "Good, class. Here I have some samples of these types of writing utensils. I would like you to write with the pencil, erase it, write with the pen, and then go over it with white-out, OK?" Leon and Haruyuki both rushed up to the front of the room and got their equipment. Just then, Minty popped out from nowhere and started to zoom around the room.
Pollux squealed. "FLYING MINT BUNNY!!!" Then he took a pencil and pen from the front of the room and experimented with them. Ooh's and Aah's came from the class.
Minty sat on Akai's head. Akai looked down at the class, smiling at their obvious delight. "All right, class, that's enough. Tonight you are to write a page-long essay explaining about these writing tools." He glanced at the clock. "There are still 30 minutes left of class. You may do anything you want." Minty squeaked and did a dance on Akai's head.
Pollux took out his bottle of butterbeer and chugged it down. Then he burped and laughed. Then he took out the pen and started drawing hippogriffs on the paper. Then he started writing his essay.
After thirty minutes, Professor Akai stood up. "OK, class, you are dismissed." Leon rushed out of the room, having a seizure, while Haruyuki walked slowly behind him.
Bryn, Damien, and Gwen walked in for their year six class. Bryn sat in her spot at the back next to Shiina, Damien sat directly in front of Shiina, and Gwen sat in the center of the front row. "What are we doing today, Professor Akai?" She always excelled in this class as she was a muggle herself.
Minty was floating above Akai's head. He clapped his hands together and said, "OK, everyone, please turn your textbooks to page 17 and read the chapter titled 'Muggle Technology'. Take some notes as you read." Shiina nodded and started to read. Devin also started to read. Minty laughed a bunny laugh and hopped Akai's head.
Shiina and Devin also looked up. Akai looked at the students. "All right, class," he said. "I have some samples here." He pointed to 4 ipod touches, 3 iphones and 2 macbooks. "You may explore them right now. THERE IS WIFI IN THIS ROOM!!!!!"
Devin stood up and picked up a macbook, turning it on as it said in the textbook. Shiina received an iphone, pressing the home button and staring at all of the apps.
Bryn examined another iphone, pressing different apps and numbers on the phone. She pressed a weird little orange and white (ipod) rectangular symbol, then pressed the sideways white triangle. Suddenly, sound blasted from the phone. The entire class jumped.
Damien was staring at the ipod touch, playing with an app.
Gwen was making her macbook say random things like she did on her home computer. She giggled when she made it sing a song about leaves, trees, and hippogriffs.
Akai clapped his hands after a while. "OK, class, now please break off into pairs. You will have to write an essay about the gadget you choose. Erm, Shiina and Damien, you two partner up. And Bryn and Devin. Gwen, you're OK working by yourself, right?"
Shiina snorted angrily and Devin smiled and ugly smile.
(lol ugly smile) Bryn glared at Devin but stormed up to him and pulled up a chair across from him. Damien smiled benignly and walked over to Shiina. Gwen nodded curtly and began planning out her essay.
Bryn glared, and she felt like punching him. If only Professor Akai wasn't there. "Shut up." She handed him a piece of paper. "Write the introduction and the facts. I'll do the rest. We'll be doing the macbook."
Damien cocked his head to the side. "Hmm... I think... the iphone seems to be pretty cool."
Damien was silent, then he looked at Shiina. "Do you know any merging spells?" Silence. Damien sighed, then looked over at Bryn and Devin. He walked over. "Hey, what's the merging spell?" Bryn looked up. "Uh, it's 'linorius'." Damien nodded, then walked back to their table, saying "Linorius!" With a firm voice, and the two pages merged together. Bryn didn't pay attention to Damien and Shiina, but looked up at Akai. "Professor, Devin and I are done."
Shiina sighed. "Damien's....strange....." she muttered. She looked up at Bryn. Minty zoomed by and landed on Bryn's head. Blackie landed on Shiina's head. "........"
Professor Akai stood in front of his desk, waiting for the second years to arrive.

Shiina sighed and pulled up a chair for him. Some day this was.
Bryn stared at him. "We need five parts. An intro, the origin, the way it is used (and by whom it is used), facts, and the conclusion."
ReplyDeleteDamien continued smiling at Shiina. "What shall we do?" He mimicked, sounding like Devin.
Shiina's inner self pouted, but she kept a poker face. (XD) She looked away. "We need to pick one," she said.

Shiina turned away, uncomfortable at Damien's stare.
ReplyDeleteDevin looked up at Bryn teasingly. "I'm finished, my honey."
Bryn growled, and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. "Shut... up. DON"T call me that," she hissed.

Devin smiled again.

Bryn let go of him, then merged the pages together with a swift invented spell.

Bryn trooped over to Shiina, and picked Blackie up from her head, then placed the bunny on a nearby desk, then left. "I think we have D.A.D.A next."
