Farwill's Office

This is Farwill's office. There are many shelves of books, plus a worn out couch in the corner with a blanket and a pillow on it. There is hazelnut coffee instant powder, and two mugs. There is also a frozen beef casserole pack on top of a strange machine, white in the shape of a box, with a handle and buttons on the side of it. It appears to be what the Muggles call a 'microwave'.

  1. Bryn knocked on the door. "Professor Farwill? Are you there?"
There was a silence. Bryn looked at Shiina. "Should we go in?"

    ReplyDelete
  2. Shiina thought for a moment. "I'm not sure. She might get mad at us, but it might be worth it."

    ReplyDelete
  3. Bryn nodded, then whispered "Alohomora" on the door. "It's charmed so you can't get in," she muttered to Shiina. "Let me try this." Bryn thought up a name for a new spell, then said to the knob, "Nonseria," and it unlocked.

  4. Farwill was lying on the couch, as stiff as a board, her eyes wide and frantic. They were glowing a strange purple as she lay there. Bryn's mouth fell open. "What's happening to her?"

(Shiina, she's having a vision. u should no.)

    ReplyDelete
  5. Shiina walked towards Farwill, a faint outline surrounding her. Her eyes had also turned pitch black, as if someone had turned the lights out in them. She reached out, and some of the black coiled off her fingertips and surrounded Farwill like a mist. She woke up, and the black mist immediately dissolved.

  6. (o ok)

Farwill jerked awake, and her vision dissolved. It was another seer. She sensed it. She was awake, and her eyes had returned to their original indigo. She sat up, and faced the two. "Hello."
Bryn stalked forward to Farwill. "You're a seer."
Farwill paused. Should she do as she had in her vision two nights ago? Yes, she thought. She would. "Apparently."
Bryn narrowed her eyes. "You knew this was about to happen."
    "Yes."
    "Why didn't you tell us?"
    "It wasn't the right time."

    ReplyDelete
  7. Shiina said nothing, but just stared at Farwill, watching her every movement.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Farwill looked at Shiina. "Natsumoto. You with-hold the Inner Eye, and suffer from it. You cough blood, and you take a potion for it." She then turned to Bryn. "Reedwing. You have the gift of inventing spells with ease. Your spells are also more powerful than other's." She looked at both of them, and stood up. Bryn suddenly noticed how tall their teacher really was. "Your fates are dangerous, and you lead a hard path. But remember my words:
    An ancient pact,
    A deadly act.
    The fall of the city
Is by revenge and not pity.
    For blood will be spilled,
    If blood is not killed."
Farwill finished, and suddenly a wave of fatigue overtook her. She sat back down, her eyes faintly purple.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Shiina waved Farwill's purple aura away and was silent, not showing any reaction to the prophecy at all.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Farwill shook the purple away. "Thanks," she muttered to Shiina. She looked at them again. "I will help you, even if you don't think you need it. I know my fate, and I will follow it. Even if I may not like it," she added, her eyes darkening.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Shiina narrowed her eyes. "Do not think we will be too grateful for your help," she said coldly.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Farwill looked at her fellow seer, her gaze cool. "You of all people should know that one cannot change what has been seen."

    ReplyDelete
  13. Shiina looked away, a thousand other comments ringing in her head, but she said nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Farwill looked at both of them. "I can sense unanswered questions," she said, voicing almost exactly what Shiina had said four days ago at Newt Cafe. "What are they?"

    ReplyDelete
  15. Shiina did not ask, as she did not find her questions significant.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Bryn looked at Farwill. "What does the line in the symbol mean?"
Farwill turned her gaze at Bryn. "I can only say that it represents you." Bryn looked mystified. Farwill looked at Shiina. "Though you may think your questions unworthy, ask them. Curiosity is intelligence."

    ReplyDelete
  17. Shiina narrowed her eyes. "The Mist surrounding the prophecy is thick. But I can tell that Professor Yamamoto does play a part in this. Is there some way that we could do this without dragging normal people into it as well?"

    ReplyDelete
  18. Farwill sighed, and shook her head. "The whole of Lyreade is affected by this prophecy, Shiina," she said, calling her by her first name for the first time. "It is not possible."

    ReplyDelete
  19. Shiina clenched her fists and silently swore. Keeping the public safe was a promise she had made a long time ago.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Bryn sent a telepathic "it's okay" to Shiina. She hoped that by some reason, she would receive it. Farwill looked at both of them. "There is thirty minutes left until dinner. I suggest you go to the library again, or somewhere else to study the books you borrowed yesterday night."

    ReplyDelete
  21. Shiina immediately stepped out of the office, taking a breath of fresh air.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Bryn nodded curtly at her teacher, then stepped outside as well. There was a silence. Then:
"Wow, it stank of beef casseroles in there," Bryn said.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Shiina just stood there, cursing herself and the whole dammed prophecy.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Bryn sighed, knowing Shiina was having one of her "I hate myself" moments. She grabbed her wrist and dragged her off to the library. "Come on, we need to find more information if we want to work out this prophecy."

    ReplyDelete
  25. Selena Farwill was slaving over a stack of paperwork, gulping down her seventh cup of hazelnut coffee. "God, I wish something would distract me from his labor," she muttered, her forehead in her palms.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Yamamoto stumbled into the room, muttering something about seizures. He looked up. "Huh?"

    ReplyDelete
  27. Farwill jumped in surprise, spilling the coffee in her hand. Okay...
"Kazuki! What are you doing in my office?" She demanded, trying to glare at him while cleaning the spill at the same time.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yamamoto looked around strangely. "Uh....." he said. "This....this isn't my office?"

    ReplyDelete
  29. Farwill, having cleaned up the mess, glared at Yamamoto. "No, it isn't," she snapped. "Your office is on the other side of the floor."

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yamamoto rubbed his eyes for a moment. "Quite right, professor," he said, and started for the door.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Farwill stopped him. "Wait, stay and distract me for a second, professor," she pleaded of him. "I'm incredible weighed down with this paperwork."

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yamamoto smiled, slightly fond of the professor. "As you say it, general," he said playfully.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Farwill grinned. "Sit down, then," she gestured to the couch, and arranged it nicely for a second before sitting down next to him. "Would you like anything to drink?"

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yamamoto shook his head slowly. "It's ok, professor." He looked up at her. "So, what kind of paperwork are you working on?"

    ReplyDelete
  35. Farwill sighed. "Homework, forms, admission sheets, questionares..." She frowned and shook her head. "Do you have that much work, professor?"

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yamamoto thought for a moment. "It depends...if I have a lot, then I do it in one sitting, but if I don't have a lot then I do it during class." He looked up at her. "I currently don't have any."

    (lolololol efficient worker!)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Farwill nodded. "Good for you," she smiled. "I also try to do it all at once if I have a lot, but sometimes I get into these--" She suddenly cut herself off, realizing she'd said too much. "Uh, sometimes I get into these really weird urges to do other things, like eating and sleeping," she finished lamely.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Farwill stared awkwardly down at her robes, hoping he wouldn't ask her about her cut off sentence.

(ASK HER! ASK HER! Lol, only if u want to XD)

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yamamoto looked at Farwill. "Erm....were you going to say something before that, professor?"

    (I ASKED! :))

    ReplyDelete
  40. Farwill, startled, looked up at him. "I... uh..." She stammered.

    (YAY! lol XD)

    ReplyDelete
  41. Yamamoto looked away so that she wouldn't feel intimidated.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Farwill narrowed her eyes. "Why should I tell you?" She demanded of him, deciding to take the offensive.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yamamoto looked downwards, not sure if he should say something or shut up. "I......"

    ReplyDelete
  44. Farwill sighed. "Do you really want to know?"

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yamamoto looked at her straight in the eye. "What you want to say, I will listen," he said simply.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Farwill gave him an exasperated stare. "Dude, you're not helping."

    ReplyDelete
  47. Farwill put her hands on his shoulders and turned him around to face her. She looked him in the eyes. She knew she would have to tell him, she'd seen it, but she wasn't sure when was the right time. "Can I trust you?" Those were the words she had said in her vision. If he said the right words back, she would tell him.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Yamamoto looked at her seriously. "I trust you. Let that speak to you."

    ReplyDelete
  49. Farwill stared. Yep, those were the words he had spoken in the vision. She took a deep breath, then began. She told him everything- from her being a seer, to Shiina and Bryn, the prophecy, her visions, her trouble sleeping... everything she's ever known, she told Kazuki Yamamoto. When she finished, she quickly conjured a glass of water and gulped it down. "That's... what I didn't want to tell you before. But I saw myself telling you, so I tested you to see if it was the right time to tell you. I suppose it was," Farwill shrugged.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Yamamoto closed his eyes. "And you're sure it's going to happen?"

    ReplyDelete
  51. "It's going to happen. It's going to happen. And... when the time comes for me... I'll go." Farwill looked down, trying not to feel scared.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Yamamoto narrowed his eyes and stepped forward. He patted her head for a while. "It'll be ok," he said. "For now."

    ReplyDelete
  53. Farwill looked small. "Can you make sure that the others remember me?" She asked of Yamamoto, hating herself for being so... weak and helpless.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Yamamoto narrowed his eyes further. He crouched down next to her. "No one will forget you," he said. He had a strange expression on his face.

(lol. ima make him kiss her dead body later on........)

    ReplyDelete
  55. (omg lol)

Farwill smiled softly. "Thank you, Kazuki," she said quietly, leaning into his shoulder.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Farwill stayed that way for a while, then suddenly a vision enveloped her. She was suddenly stock-still, stiff on his shoulder, and a blue light emanated from her eyes.

    (don't stop her)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Yamamoto looked down at her in surprise. "Erm....Selena?"

    ReplyDelete
  58. After about 20 minutes, Farwill collapsed on to the floor, sliding off his shoulder. "Student..... can't... make it....." she whimpered, curling into a ball on the floor.

    (she just saw gwen die)

    ReplyDelete
  59. Yamamoto was shaking her now. "Wake up! Wake up!" he felt useless.

    ReplyDelete
  60. After about 5 minutes, Farwill's eyes fluttered open. She was completely still. She stared up at Yamamoto. "Kazuki? Why are you in my office? Oh, right..." she trailed off, remembering.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Yamamoto stared at her, eyes narrowing in want. He was so different from her, yet.....

    ReplyDelete
  62. Farwill sat up, her robes slightly loose and messed up. Her hair had fallen out of her ponytail, and her indigo eyes were tired and wary. "That... was worse than me... getting killed."

    ReplyDelete
  63. Yamamoto was silent, not wanting to probe into her thoughts.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Farwill sighed again and leaned into him again, her head on his shoulder. A part of hair was splayed over his chest and neck. The rest of it was covering her own chest, neck, and shoulders.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Yamamoto was tickled by her hair. Not knowing what to say, he pulled her closer to him.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Farwill smiled slightly, liking the warmth of his body.

    (Woah. WOAH.)

    ReplyDelete
  67. Yamamoto looked down at the smaller being. He wanted to pull her even closer, so close, but he just didn't have the courage.

    (oOOOOOOOOOOOO)

    ReplyDelete
  68. (Farwill is a small being. LOL XD)

Farwill curled up on Yamamoto's lap, leaning against his chest. "Hey, can we stay like this for a while?" She whispered into his shirt.

    (O.M.G. AHHHHHHHHH)

    ReplyDelete
  69. Yamamoto had a broaaaaaaaaad chest. (XD) Yamamoto began to stroke her hair. "If you wish it," he said.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Farwill grinned into his chest. "Thanks," she said softly.

    (lol shud mapps walk in?)

    ReplyDelete
  71. (that'd be funny)

Farwill relaxed in the smell and warmth of her fellow professor.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Yamamoto wanted her to be closer. He rested his chin on her head and slowly slid his head downwards.....

    ReplyDelete
  73. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Yamamoto slid his head down further. His lips were about a millimeter away from Farwill's......

    ReplyDelete
  75. Farwill suddenly realized what they were about to do, and closed her eyes, stretching out with her neck (OSTRICH!!!), and felt his lips meet hers.

    ReplyDelete
  76. (O.O shes that short??? XD)

Yamamoto felt lightheaded as they met like this for the first time, but he felt good, as if he had finally let out all of his feelings. He gripped her shoulders tightly. (ow.)

    ReplyDelete
  77. (no, she was just curled up so she was small compared to his sitting up)

Farwill put her arms around his neck and pulled him closer to her.

    ReplyDelete
  78. (o)

Yamamoto poked his tongue forwards, yearning to place it in her mouth.

    (;))

    ReplyDelete
  79. (lol XD)

Farwill was a little surprised, but let him and twirled her own tongue around his, her... chest pressing up on his.

(damn this shud be in xylophone XD)

    ReplyDelete
  80. (:D)

Yamamoto has an exhilarating feeling and bent over more, holding her even tighter.

    ReplyDelete
  81. (I'll not go any farther... we can do it there ;D)

Farwill put her legs around his waist and pulled him closer to her when......
a certain Professor Mapps walked in. "Selena, the headmistress wanted--" he stopped short when he saw the scene. "Um..."

    ReplyDelete
  82. Professor Yamamoto calmly broke away from Farwill and stood up and faced the other man. "Good afternoon, professor," he said politely. "You see, my friend from Japan is obsessed with anime. He even draws manga himself. He was having difficulty with this one love scene, you see, so he asked me for help." Yamamoto started to spew pointless facts in Japanese.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Professor Mapps stared at Yamamoto strangely and skeptically before Farwill pushed Yamamoto aside and stared straight into Mapps' eyes. "I will contact you later, professor. For now, Yamamoto is helping me with designing a project I am giving my students." She pushed him out the door, but not before Mapps caught Yamamoto's eye and winked, as if to say, "Congrats, dude, you finally got her".

    ReplyDelete
  84. Yamamoto rolled his eyes. "Shut up," they seemed to say.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Mapps was finally kicked out the door, and Farwill turned back around and faced Yamamoto. She smirked, walking slowly towards him like a lioness stalking her helpless prey.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Farwill suddenly pushed him into the wall and began kissing him passionately.

    (lol random kissing XD)

    ReplyDelete
  87. Yamamoto widened his eyes and tried to pull away.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Farwill pulled away herself and breathed heavily, having not breathed for a full five minutes. She saw Yamamoto staring at her in shock.

    (lol fish farwill)

    ReplyDelete
  89. (XD)

Yamamoto was startled. He looked at Farwill. "Selena...?"

    ReplyDelete
  90. (ha)

Farwill looked up at him. She suddenly flushed a deep red. "Um... I... uh... I'm really sorry, I didn't know what I was doing..." she trailed off, embarrassed.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Yamamoto smiled and patted her again. "You're cute when you're short of words."

    ReplyDelete
  92. Farwill blushed a deeper red. "Thanks... I guess..." she smiled a little.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Yamamoto turned towards the door. "I should get going now...I need to write the script for my 'scene'." He smiled one more time and opened the door. "And you should finish up your paperwork as well."

    ReplyDelete
  94. Farwill smiled. "Yeah. I'll come by sooner or later." She paused, smirking. "And... thanks for the distraction, professor," she said playfully.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Farwill smiled at his discomfort again, then went back to her desk and began working on her paperwork once more.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Farwill ran into her office and slammed the door shut, going over to the couch and putting her face into the pillow, attempting to stop the flow of tears running from her eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  97. The door opened and Shiina stepped into the office. "Professor, I had a question about the.........."

    ReplyDelete
  98. Farwill froze, then decided she was too miserable to care. Besides, she knew Shiina could keep a secret. She didn't get up from where she was.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Farwill mumbled into her pillow. "What? If you have a question, ask me. If you don't leave."

    ReplyDelete
  100. Farwill, at this, shot up and glared at Shiina fiercely in a way she had never done before with bloodshot indigo eyes. "Are you leaving or talking?" She snapped.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Shiina's red eyes glared. "What are you doing?" she demanded.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Farwill glared back at her. "What are YOU doing? You're the one in my office."

    ReplyDelete
  103. Shiina narrowed her eyes. "Well, sorry for wanting to ask an educative quesiton," she muttered. She turned to leave.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Farwill snapped, "I told you to ask me, and you didn't."

    ReplyDelete
  105. Shiina turned around, her eyebrows so deep that they made her eyes appear slightly black. "Yeah, sure," she said. She no longer wanted to see this seer again. "Don't think you can order me around," she said, her voice suddenly very cold. She left.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Farwill rolled her eyes, and wondered what the original question was. She had seen this scene before, but she hadn't known what the question was. The pain of seeing Yamamoto's face hit her again, and she struggled to hold back her tears.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Yamamoto stumbled into the office, looking around. "You wanted to see me, professor?"

    ReplyDelete
  108. Farwil looked up from her desk in surprise. "I did?"

    ReplyDelete
  109. Yamamoto looked at her. "Kumataka said you did......"

    ReplyDelete
  110. Farwill frowned. "I bet he just wanted you to visit me. Well, come in anyway, make yourself comfortable. I need a break anyway. What do you want? Tea? Coffee? Juice? Snacks?" She got up and began to look for food in her cabinet.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Yamamoto shrugged. "Anything you like," he said. Beef casseroles, he answered for her in his thoughts.

    ReplyDelete
  112. "Then beef casseroles," Farwill said promptly, and warmed up a frozen pack. She took out some mint tea and brewed it, then gave Yamamoto a cup and a plate of casserole. "So how have you been?" She asked him, sitting close beside him with her own casserole and tea.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Yamamoto shrugged. "OK, I guess," he said. "But I'm glad those two boys are back. They took quite some time."

    ReplyDelete
  114. Farwill nodded. "Yes. Good thing they got Taki. He's powerful, that one. Knapp made a good choice to put him in Eagletalon."

    ReplyDelete
  115. Yamamoto nodded. "He'll need some work in some other subjects, but I can see that he has a lot of promise."

    ReplyDelete
  116. "Yup." Farwill suddenly grinned evilly at Yamamoto. "We should sneak out and hang out during our break time. I haven't done that since my 6th year," she told him, smiling mischievously.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Yamamoto sighed. "You were always a troublemaker back then," he remarked, thinking back to when he was a student as well.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Farwill grinned widely. "Yeah. You remember when I pranked Professor Crumple?" She laughed. "You should have seen her face, that old hag. Nobody liked her."

    ReplyDelete
  119. Yamamoto smiled slightly. "And when Smith poured frog eggs onto her chair and made them appear down her robes?"

    ReplyDelete
  120. Farwill laughed. "That was so funny! I put a temporary tickling charm on Mrakle. He laughed and spasmed every five minutes."

    ReplyDelete
  121. Yamamoto grinned. "Good times," he said. "But at least the students haven't been pulling pranks on us. Yet."

    ReplyDelete
  122. Farwill raised an eyebrow. "What about Kumataka? He pulled one on me two years ago. And one on Mapps the year before that." She made a face. "I'm glad he shaped up."

    ReplyDelete
  123. Yamamoto shrugged. "I've been fine," he remarked. "But I guess not all students are perfect."

    ReplyDelete
  124. "Yeah. I guess they end up fine in the end anyway," Farwill nodded. She paused, then her eyes brightened. "Hey, would you like to join me for lunch at Goat's Corner? My treat."

    ReplyDelete
  125. Yamamoto raised his eyebrows. Weren't you preparing a casserole? he thought in his mind, but said, "Sure!"

    ReplyDelete
  126. "Okay! I'll meet you tomorrow at your office, okay? I'll be there at... 12:30." Farwill smiled at him, and stood up, looking at the clock in her office. "Well, time for class. Nice spending time with you though." She leaned down and gave him a kiss on the cheek before gathering up two binders full of papers and swept out of the room.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Yamamoto smiled after his fellow professor, then got up and quickly headed for his office to get some books, then left for his room.
