This is a large field, where the quidditch practices and matches are held. There are many bleachers and places for the crowd to sit. It is a typical quidditch field, with the three goals on each side.
Shiina, Leon and Devin strolled onto the field, all looking confident. Shiina knelt down next to Leon. "Let's win this, OK?" Devin snorted. "We're going to win, OK?" Shiina glared at him.
Damien, next to Devin, rolled his eyes. "Yeah, like THEY'RE going to win." Bryn glared at Damien. "We are." She turned back to Shiina and gave her a friendly nudge, then an encouraging punch to Leon, which hurt more than she intended.
Knapp was floating above them. "Ready your positions!" She called, and Bryn and Damien took their places. Bryn situated herself between Shiina and Leon as a chaser and a beater. Leon would be the goalkeeper, and Shiina the seeker. Damien would be the seeker, with Devin as chaser and beater and Pollux as goalkeeper.
Pollux flew up to the rings. He drank some butterbeer. Then threw the bottle at the ground. It turned into a block of butter. Then he got ready. He lost balance and dipped a bit. Then he got back up and waddled in the air.
Bryn flew up, and prepared to bash some brains out. Damien's eyes were fixed at the snitch in Knapp's hands. "Let the game... begin!" Knapp yelled, and threw the snitch, bludger, and quaffle into the air.
Bryn glared at Devin, zooming head onto him, then pulling her broom to the side and sending him flipping to the side. She caught the quaffle and threw it into the goal after hitting a bludger at Pollux. Damien was flying side-by-side with Shiina, trying to pull ahead of her to catch the snitch. He lurched ahead, seeing the snitch slow down. His fingertips touched it, then it zipped off, out of sight once more.
Shiina smirked to herself. Leon floated there, unable to do anything. Devin snorted. He beat the bludger away and quickly caught the quaffle. He started on his way back to the other team's goal posts.
Bryn saw Devin and zipped towards him, aiming and hitting a bludger at him as she went. "Leon! Get the quaffle!" She yelled. Damien decided to get it the harder way- he thew himself to Shiina's side, unbalancing her. He zoomed towards the snitch.
Leon quickly floated upwards and caught the quaffle. Shiina winced. She could feel blood rising up in her throat, but closed her mouth and flew on, trying to catch up to Damien. "Maybe I should spit blood in his face," she thought as she flew. Devin raced towards Leon and tried to get the quaffle.
Bryn growled and punched Devin as she flew in front of Leon to protect him. She raised her hand with the quaffle, then threw it as hard as she could. It flew through the goalpost at the other side. Damien zipped up to the snitch. His hand reached out to get it. He could feel the wind of the snitch's wings beating on his palm...
Shiina suddenly appeared in front of him. She winced as his fingers pierced her neck but reached out her hand. Then, slowly, slowly, her hand got closer and closer until....
Damien suddenly jumped from his broom, launching himself into Shiina, knocking the snitch out of her hands, sending them tumbling down to the ground. Bryn screamed and shot down to Shiina as well. "Get your hands off her, you idiot!" She shrieked at Damien.
Pollux had blocked a lot of goals. He was happy. But then he saw Shiina on the floor, and Damien had an embarrassing splatter of blood on his face. He flew down towards the scene and floated like an idiot next to Leon.
"YAY OF COURSE." He took some pudding and stuffed it down his mouth. Then he offered some butterbeer to Leon. "Want some? I'm gonna make popsicle sticks with them later for Potions!"
Suddenly, Shiina and Damien were forcibly yanked apart and frozen in place. Bryn pulled to a halt, jerking her broom upwards to stop herself from plummeting to the ground. Knapp was floating in front of them, an angry expression on her face. "All players, gather!"
Damien stayed frozen in place, but his eyeballs stared at the Headmistress. Bryn flew towards Knapp. She glared at all of them. "Shiina caught the snitch. Damien, you tackled her. Bryn, Shiina, and Leon won. FOUL PLAY, the rest of you," Knapp accused.
Bryn glared at Devin. "Stop being an arrogant retard, idiot," she snapped. Knapp looked at the group of quidditch players. "Go shower and change and go for lunch. Bryn and Shiina, Farwill and I want to see you in my office." She unfroze Damien and Shiina. Damien walked off with Devin after giving the two girls a curious glance.
(dude. how is that fair.) Pollux stared in disbelief at the Headmistress. He played fair! How could he have done 'foul play'? All he did was block a bunch of quaffles. He decided to ignore and left.
"Well, actually, I do play quidditch. I was a beater at Hogwarts," Ada replied. Then she paused for a moment before adding, "And I was good at it. I've never gotten hit by a Bludger, nor have I ever missed a mark I've aimed at." With a smile, she Accio'd her trusty Firebolt-- the one she'd saved up all of her money for a year to get-- and raced off into the sky. "Catch me if you can, Kumataka!"
Damien grinned, and caught his broom in his hand and shot forward towards Ada. He was good at speed- he just wasn't very good at dodging things. Sometimes, he went too fast and crashed into someone... like Shiina.
"Not at all!" Damien shouted after her, pulling away from the goal he was about to crash into. He dove down towards the tiny form of Ada, grinning the whole time.
Ada dodged expertly and glared at him. "What are you trying to do, Kumataka? Kill me?" He shot towards her again, and she swerved yet again. "Knock it off!" she half-yelled as she began to giggle.
Damien smirked and shot after her, swerving at the last minute, purposely knocking her broom from beneath her. He shot down below Ada, squinting in the sun.
